About the Department
The MBA programme of SRMCEM is its flagship postgraduate programme. its main objective is to develop pursuing students into competent managers capable of working in any area of organized activity with ability to achieve excellence while contributing to the larger cause. The programme specifically attempts to equip students with interpersonal skills and managerial decision making. It endeavours to develop leadership abilities in the students so that they may act as change agents for the better causes like integrity, honesty and fairness in decision making. The MBA programme of SRMCEM is based on industry compliant training in business operations. It includes management fests, mock-parliaments on contemporary issues, debates, business quizzes as a necessary part of curricular activities.

HOD :Dr. Pragati Malik (HOD)
Dr. Pragati Malik (HOD) is a PhD in Marketing from Lucknow University. She has twenty three years of experience in industry and teaching in total. She has research papers in National and International journals, focus area being FMCG industry and related aspects like branding, pricing and distribution of this sector. She has four years of hard core sales experience and nineteen years of teaching with Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management and Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial University. Her subject areas of interest are Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Branding and Logistics Management.

He has a doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Applied Business Economics (Commerce) from Dr B R Ambedkar University. He has served in various capacities at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges, Lucknow. He has worked as a Coordinator and Head, Department of Management, SRMCEM, Lucknow for a long time. He has also worked for many years in Industry. Prof Lyall has served almost for two decades as the Professor of Finance and Accounts in the Department of Management. He is also engaged in supervising doctoral research and published many papers in reputed Journals and edited books. He has been member of Editorial and Advisory Boards of many reputed Journals. He is also pursuing Post Doctoral (D.Litt) research. His special interests include Financial and Management Accounting. |

A three day international conference ICON e-biz 2019 of Department of Management was held at SRMCEM from 7 Nov to 9Nov 2019. The conference envisaged wide array of theme ranging from e-business to cash less economy. It was inaugurated by honorable Amiya Pathak (Co-Founder of EzCred Pvt. Ltd.) and guest of honor was Mr. Eirik Alberigsten(Partner- Ernst and Young)
